I'm new at "G" gauge trains. I bought a Bachmann Heavy Hauler. It runs
and sounds great, but, no or very little smoke. The bach Man came back,
and said thats it. It doesn't push much smoke. Some one then came back,
and said to check you out.. Greg

Just found you when searching for Bachmann info. Excellent site George,
this will keep me busy for many nights just reading it all.

I'm a large scale beginner, just buying for maybe next two years before
starting construction. Used to have N gauge years ago, way too small to
look at now in my opinion. I now need to convert the back lawn to
railway empire and have big ones that I can sit back and see from a
distance. (Getting sick of tending grass).

I've really enjoyed your site. You conclude that the radiator on the
Aristo doodlebug is not an accurate representation. I have a couple of
jpegs of actual doodlebugs that are built like the Aristo model. I will
send them to you if you like. Please keep the site running. It is a much
better reference than any instruction book that I have ever recieved.
Regards. Jim

It may seem silly but I loved the information about the various types of
glues. It is a very useful article. I knew about most of them but I
learned a few as well. I was a welder and machinist in a past life so
joining items is something I think about on occasion. Using the correct
glue is really important since some will fail on a particular
application and be great on another. Heck they are gluing airplanes
together now! Thanks George

May 14-15 Road the LK&P. Shot hundres of photo's of the shop and
steaming up the #3 on Friday morning. The LOOP track is no more, due to
a new road cutting the upper part of loop track. So the train stops by
the Enginhhouse and turns on a new "Y" track behind the shops. NICE WEB
SITE...Thak You for sharring. Dan On30

I happened across your website quite by accident but was enthralled to
read what a "tourist" thought of our rail network.
You'll find that things have changed now of course, but your appraisal
of the UK rail network and food was a nice read and some comments that
you talked about really did ring true.
Next time, you must visit the museum in York, it's excellent.

of anyone with this sort of application I would appreciate a response.
thanks

this a really interesting collection of tips and I congratulate you for
your inventiveness and thorough presentation of information. I'm
enjoying reading these very much.
